Paolo Angelini (b. 1993) is a photographer and graphic designer based in Italy. In 2016 he received a BFA in Visual Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. He has been awared a Fullbright scholarship to study abroad at MCAD, Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis and an Erasmus scholarship for a year exchange program at FAMU, National Czech Film School, in Prague, Czech Repubblic.In 2022 he obtained an MA in Communication and Design for Publishing from ISIA Urbino, with a thesis about the interaction between man, the natural-urban environment and architecture. He curated, together with Mauro Bubbico, the design of “Segni Migranti”, a monograph by the italian photographer Mario Cresci. This volume won the Best historical book award at Les rencontres de la photographie d’Arles in 2020. He focuses on book design and printed matters, while also developing identities, websites and exhibitions for companies, institutions, and private clients. He tackles each project with a minimal yet effective approach. Typography is one of his main tools for creating a clear and functional design.
